Watching your little one start crawling and moving is such a huge milestone for new parents. It's a combination of coordination, arm and leg strength, head strength, and more.
We got the chance to check out the coolest toy that will help aid infants in gathering the skills they need to crawl. The Crawligator is a tummy time rolling toy that provides mobility for infants 6 to 12 months old.
Since my own kids are long past this stage, we had to borrow a little friend to check this one out. Our sweet Rowan was born super early at 26 weeks. She is now a year old and growing super well. She still is not moving independently yet and her mom was more than happy to help us check this one out.
It was the perfect fit and Rowan was already moving her arms and legs right after she was placed on her Crawligator. We set her up on the wood floors and gently slid it around so she could get a feel for how it works. I can't wait to see once she really gets going.
The Crawligator crawler makes tummy time fun and promotes natural crawling movement for infants while building strength. Designed to move just above the surface of a smooth level floor on ball caster wheels, the Crawligator's contoured surface fits the curvature of the baby’s body, allowing the child to rest comfortably on their stomach. In this position, the baby is able to practice bilateral coordination -- using the arms and legs in reciprocal movements.
The Crawligator is a JPMA Innovation Award Winner 2019 and is pediatric physical therapist recommended. Rowan's mom is already planning to show it to theirs for more ideas to get that sweet girl moving more and more.
Just in time for the holidays, Crawligator is offering free shipping on this awesome toy. It's available in 5 colors currently--pink, just like Rowan's, yellow, green, mint, and blue. Retail price is $39.95 and the benefits for your baby are endless.
Disclosure: We received a Crawligator, due to our relationship with US Family Guide. All opinions are my own.
